Olimje is a small village harboured by the Kozjansko Mountains. Its core is represented by a mighty castle that used to be the property of the Counts of Atems, whereas today the castle hosts a Minorite Monastery. Adjacent to it lies St. Mary’s Church of the Assumption, which is one of the most beautiful baroque pieces of art in this area.
In the basement of the monastery’s southern tower there is a pharmacy, which is the third oldest pharmacy in Europe offering numerous herbal medicinal products for all kinds of ailments.

a chocolate boutique in Olimje selling a wide selection of hand-made chocolate products.
